This unique Saab 900 Pickup was first registered in the Netherlands in 1989 according to records from the RDW (Netherlands Vehicle Authority). Registration details for license plate VG-32-HG show it is classified as a vehicle for business use.
These pictures were taken a while ago and it is unknown if this Saab Pickup still exists. The owner posted on the Dutch Saab forum in 2008 and said there were plans for a restoration in 2009. The original conversion from car to pickup was doneby the owner’s cousin in 1989.
The conversion was completed with assistance from Saab Netherlands as well as Saab in Sweden. The last known location was Vriezenveen, a small town in the eastern part of the country near the German border.
