Space is limited at the Saab Museum in Trollhättan so they are planning to auction off 5 Saabs in their collection. Peter Bäckström, the curator of the museum, told P4 West they do not have the space to show all their Saabs so a few of them are looking for a new owner.
One of the cars is a 1950 Saab 92 test car and needs some work, a restoration project from 1976, an electric Saab 9-3 project car and two Saab 9000. One of those is a an extended limousine version that is 1 meter longer than the regular sedan.
The proceeds of the auction will fund future Saabs that may be added to the museum. We sent a request to the museum for more information about the auction and hopefully we can provide more details here on SaabWorld soon.
